Mental health: Talk with a counselor
Professional counselors are available to support you with any mental health needs or concerns you may have. Please call 095-819-2211, drop by the health center, or fill out
the online appointment form to make an appointment to speak with a counselor.
A list of other resources (such as those related to mental health, suicide, domestic violence, and social services) can be found on
this Nagasaki Prefecture web site.
Note: Most resources listed are only available in Japanese. For information on free, telephone- or text-based counseling in English, please visit
the TELL web site.
Regarding the mental health questions section of the online questionnaire completed for student health checks
These questions are used to get a general idea of your overall mental health. A total score of 13 or higher can indicate that you are experiencing a high degree of distress or anxiety. If your score is 13 or higher, please make an appointment with a counselor by using
the online appointment form. Of course, even if your score is below 13, you are welcome to make a counseling appointment if you have any concerns you would like to discuss.
